The UPCC is partnering with Great Start Collaboratives across the Upper Peninsula to host a series of Candidate Receptions following the August 3rd primary and up to the time of the UPCC's Candidate Forum on October 14th.
Candidate Receptions are informal opportunities for members of the public to meet and talk to candidates for public office from the county and state level.
Times, dates and locations for U.P. Candidate Receptions are as follows:
- Eastern U.P. (Chippewa, Mackinac, Luce): TBA
- Delta Schoolcraft: October 20th, 4:30pm-6pm, Location, TBA
- Marquette Alger: September 3rd, 4-6pm, Falling Rock Cafe, Munising and September 10, 4-6, in the Marquette Commons
- Menominee: September 26th, 11:00am-2:00pm, Carney-Nadeau School Cafeteria
- Dickinson Iron: October 23, 1:00-3:30pm, Moose Jackson's in Iron Mountain
- Copper Country (Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw): TBA
- Gogebic Ontonagon: September 20, 12:00-1:00pm (Eastern Time), Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District in Bergland
